Inscription
Nine Good Wishes (Nine Likes)
The character for [like 如] is a homonym for that of [fish 魚]
Therefore, many people like to write [Nine Fishes] as [Nine Likes] .
Idea taken from the [Classic of Poetry - Tian Bao]:
Like mounds, like mountains, like hills, like hillocks,
like the oncoming rivers, like the constancy of the moon,
like the rising sun, like the longevity of the Southern Mountain.
like the luxuriance of the pine trees.
The meaning is to wish good luck.

~ Siu Mui, my disciple used the same idea to compose this painting!
