Introduction
The exhibition was held in June 2002 in the premisses of the Chinese Traditional Culture Society, founded by Ngan Siu-Mui herself. The Lotté-Furama Restaurant hosted the traditional benefit Banquet sponsored by Mr Louis Lu and Mrs Ellen Wong. There were about one hundred forty guests.
The evening featured a pipa performance by Guan Yadong and her trio, argentinian tango demonstration by Ngan Siu-Mui and Jean-Tves Pelletier, dancing music by the well-known Paulo Ramos Orchestra. Masters of ceremony were Ms Catherine Fung and Mr André Bourbonnière.

Ngan Siu-Mui, Calligraphy and Argentine Tango
An interesting parallel can be drawn between Chinese calligraphy and Argentine tango choreography. The brush is dancing leaving the trace of her movement on the paper a bit like the arabesques drawn on the floor by the feet of the dancers.
